Packet Facilities Inc. will act as your private facility for warehousing, order fulfillment, and product distribution. As far as your customers are concerned, our center is an extension of your office. Documentation received with ordered merchandise has your logo and name printed on it. Our name remains anonymous.

Packet operates over 250,000 square feet of warehousing and office space, providing clients with a complete full services distribution facility in one location for over thirty years. We receive your goods, generate a picking ticket, process your orders, ship directly to your customers, invoice them on multi-part forms with your logo and info., and provide you with monthly M.I.S. reports all at a fixed, known cost with no hidden charges. This enables you to know at all times the costs associated with fulfillment and distribution of your product.

Merchandise is received in cartons, boxes, on hangers or in any other form

All merchandise is stored in bind, on shelves, pallet or hanger racks, whichever is appropriate.

We allot space that is for your product, and only your product. Your privacy is protected.

An account executive is assigned to your account. This individual will assure the smooth flow of information and be available for any inquiries you may have concerning shipping status, freight charges, P.O.D.s, AOD, tracers, etc..

A Plant supervisor is assigned to your account, and will keep you advised of product quality, and stock levels, thereby assisting you with inventory control. This individual is charged with the responsibility of servicing your account on the floor. With the account executive, they assure that all merchandise is recieved, checked in by sku, accounted for and ultimately shipped accurately and on time to your customer.

We handle all returns according to your policies, and provide all necessary follow up paperwork.

We provide set assemble capabilities, ticketing, UCC128 labels, barcoding (all codes), hang tagging, inspecting, etc. as may be needed.

Catalogue fulfillment including receipt of orders, verification, storage of merchandise, inventory control and shipment of orders.

Monthly you will receive a bound set of MIS reports that include, Sales Journal, Item Sold Analysis, Detailed Open Order Report, Detailed Stock Status, Open A/R, Cash Receipts, Aged Reports, and DUN Notices. (When the computerized services are requested)

Such a service can be referred to as a pay as you use plan. This gives you a complete, functioning logistical center equipped with heavy machinery, integrated computerized services, all common carrier software, complete library of routing guides and specifications, and an experienced labor force with no capital outlay or fixed long term investments in real estate, equipment purchase or personnel.

You have no lease commitments, no cost of maintenance, no investment in material handling equipment and none of the costs or problems associated with personnel, labor unions, insurance, taxes, fringe benefits (health insurance), or office personnel and equipment needed for customer invoicing and other accounting services...

Most importantly, you encounter none of the problems related to running your own distribution and fulfillment, thereby allowing you the time to concentrate on where your talents are needed most; the promotion and expansion of your business.

Monthly MIS Reports

There are a number of additional reports available from our reporting menus. Should there be a report that you require, which is not offered, provide a copy and we will write a program.

Sales Journal - Listing of sales for the month, or any part of the month with the totals on the bottom. There is a variable boot for the period from-to. The format shows Pick Ticket#....Invoice#....Customer....Date....Saleman....Net$....Freight$....Gross$.

Detailed Stock Status - Lists every item along with the qty on hand, qty on order (to ship), qty on P.O. to arrive, qty available if all orders shipped. The qty on order to ship lists the pick ticket numbers that call for that item, along with the customer name.

Inventory Value Report - Show, sorted by Sku#, each item, the description, quantity on hand, value per unit (may be calculated by landed, wholesale, or cost), and then carries across the total value on hand per sku with a grand total for all sku's on the final page.

Salesman Commission Report - this report prints on 2 to 3 part ncr paper, with one salesman per page. Each sale made by the salesman number is listed, with detail of the sale (net, freight, gross) then totals the figure upon which the commission is payable. Commissions may be paid on order, on invoice, on cash receipts, or several other formulas. Multiple formulas are acceptable, as are overrides.

Cash Receipts Journal - Details all cash receipts received during the month. Both G/L as well as cash against A/R accounts are detailed. Any discounts and allowances will show up here. Cash receipts are detailed by each individual check. The format can be selected from several options, as can the sorting variable. Totals are provided by each date of deposit, as well as a monthly total.

Aged A/R - This report lists all customers with an open A/R account, sorted alphabetically (can also sort by other variables such as highest open $ value). All open invoices belonging to the individual customer is then listed under columns broken down by how many days past due the invoice is.

Quick A/R - Same as above, without the detail.

Several Inventory reports are also available, in addition to those listed above.

Additional services pertaining to computerized information systems are available to our clients. Packet offeres the installaaion of a CRT, keyboard, modem, printer and communications software at your location. This will allow you to have 24 hour a day seven days a week access to your shipping and inventory data. Set-up and training is available as part of this service.
